چکیده
The public health aspects of incinerator exhaust gases are discussed first in the light of the physio logical response induced by specific contaminants such as sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, and other inorganic gases and aldehydes, organic acids, esters, polynu clear hydrocarbons' , and other organic compounds; second, with respect to their relation to illness caused by air pollution in general such as emphysema and other respiratory diseases, allergenic responses, and cancer; and third on the character of the effluent gases, namely, domestic, municipal, or industrial. One aspect of domestic incinerator effluents is par ticularly stressed, that is, tile effect on nearby resi dents. The contribution that incinerator exhaust gases make to the air pollution of any given community de pends on the ratio of the amount of refuse and garbage burned to the total amount of fuel used and consumed in tllat region.

Non-linear Dynamic Analysis of Steel Hollow I-core Sandwich Panel under Air Blast Loading
In this paper, the non-linear dynamic response of novel steel sandwich panel with hollow I-core subjected to blast loading was studied. Special emphasis is placed on the evaluation of midpoint displacements and energy dissipation of the models. Several parameters such as boundary conditions, strain rate, mesh dependency and asymmetrical loading are considered in this study. The material and geo...

In this commentary, I argue that corruption in health systems is a critical and legitimate area for research in order to strengthen health policy goals. This rationale is based partly on citizen demand for more accountable and transparent health systems, along with the fact that the poor and vulnerable suffer the most from the presence of corruption in health systems. متن کاملHuman T Lymphotropic Virus Type I (HTLV-I) Oncogenesis: Molecular Aspects of Virus and Host Interactions in Pathogenesis of Adult T cell Leukemia/Lymphoma (ATL)
The study of tumor viruses paves the way for understanding the mechanisms of virus pathogenesis, including those involved in establishing infection and dissemination in the host tumor affecting immune-compromised patients. The processes ranging from viral infection to progressing malignancy are slow and usually insufficient for establishment of transformed cells that develop cancer in only ...

متن کاملThe use of urinary Insulin-like Growth Factor-I (IGF-I) for determining skeletal age of participants
Introduction: Biochemical markers play an important role in the growth and repair of bone and can be evaluated in different biological fluids. Therefore, the aim of this study was to evaluate the level of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) in urine as a puberty index and to compare it with cervical vertebral maturational stages (CVMSs) in lateral cephalometry. Materials&Methods: In this cros...
